Partners for Economic Prosperity (PEP)
PURPOSE
Partners for Economic Prosperity (PEP) is a San Diego-based Community Development Corporation and a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with a mission to improve regional neighborhoods and the community of San Diego and Southern California by stimulating workforce development and economic stability through loans and technical assistance to local businesses.
Through lending, the San Diego Partners for Economic Prosperity expands the local economy and creates self-sufficiency and job stability for low-income individuals, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and minorities.
We provide low-interest loan programming for expanding small businesses, job creation and employment
By harnessing partnerships with Small Business Associations, Economic Development Corporations, Community Colleges, Child Support Services, Health and Human Services, and Workforce Partnership Organizations, we create a thriving and prosperous community environment.
Additionally, we support loan recipients by offering board expertise, collaborative guidance, access to community resources and local knowledge of targeted communities.
We work with entrepreneurs to expand their businesses by providing technical assistance and facilitating access to expansion capital. These expansions have created hundreds of jobs in San Diego and throughout Southern California.

History
Partners for Economic Prosperity (PEP) is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. PEP San Diego was incorporated in 1994.
The Partners for Economic Prosperity (PEP) is a proven community-based economic development organization in San Diego County with a strong track record of providing hard-to-reach communities with important, culturally sensitive technical information in native languages on economic development and opportunity, environmental safety, and consumer protection
